Misterio is Spanish for “Passion Play”
In Easter week 2025, a group of volunteers and professionals produced a passion play on a beach in Costa Rica (see slideshow below). Beyond the visual power was the audience’s profound participation in acting out the story of Jesus: the audience travelled, danced, sang, and laughed, mixing with professionals and volunteers.
